Gaelic4Girls is a 8 week Program from the LGFA and that aims to increase participation in ladies football. The program is open to girls aged 8-12 years. This program focuses on girls having fun, making friends, developing new skills and getting exercise. Research has shown that young girls playing Gaelic Football from a young age have a better Mental Health. Getting out and playing sports is the best way to make new friends and to have fun. This program is also perfect for girls who are complete beginners.

All girls need to bring is a gum shield, comfortable sports gear, runners and bottle of water. On the completion of the program, the girls are presented with a certificate and t-shirt for their participation.

The cost of the entire program is only €10.

Girls from all the local areas surrounding Croom are encouraged to attend & learn the skills of Gaelic Football. This program is to encourage these girls to play for a club and to wear the colours of their club “the blue and white” and their county “green and white”.

The committee of Croom LGFC encourage these girls to come to this program. We want to show these girls the skills of Ladies Gaelic Football and to show them how much Gaelic Football means to us.
